Knitting Retreat 2025

Members! Join us this Fall for the bi-annual, joint knitting retreat with our sister guild over the bridge, Tigard Knitting Guild! 

Members can sign up for the retreat at the Tigard Knitting Guild Website under events. Scroll to October 2-5 and click on the date you are interested in.

Fall Retreat Registration Open Starting Friday, July 18

 

The Fall Retreat is hosted by the Tigard Knitting Guild and we will be joined by the Fort Vancouver Knitters Guild. We have expanded the retreat this year, and it is scheduled for October 2-5, 2025. See below for registration information.

To Register for the retreat, sign in to the Tigard Knitting Guild website, click on the Calendar tab, click on October, and go to the registration tab. We are working on having something special on Saturday morning at 10:00 for approximately one hour. There will be more information on this as soon as we have confirmation.

There will be time for yarn shopping, taking walks on the retreat grounds, and lots of time for knitting and visiting with other guild members. We will also have a yarn swap so plan on bringing your de-stash items.

Saturday evening we will have a fashion show for the Sisters at Our Lady of Peace, so bring two or three projects you want to share. In the past we’ve made cozies and slippers for the Sisters. This year we will be making fingerless mitts. You can use any pattern if you wish to participate. Suggested colors are black, navy, or brown. Finished mitts can go to Lou prior to the retreat.

 

Registration Information:

• $378 - Thursday through Sunday: Check-in is 1 pm on Thursday and includes dinner, all meals on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday brunch
• $259 - Friday through Sunday: Check-in is 1 pm on Friday and includes dinner, all meals on Saturday, and Sunday brunch.
• $88 Commuter – Friday or Saturday: Check-in is 8 am and includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner

When registering, there are questions that will help with room assignments and special food needs, plus emergency contact information.
